“Africa” is the theme which seems to me the most attractive topic in the three ones suggested. I am really interested in the African population and its development because I think that it demonstrates one of the problems being discussed the most frequently in our daily news and apart from that does not only concern the African state itself but also the other continents like Europe where we live. Talking about this theme makes it also possible for us to learn more about historical facts about Africa reagarding to the second and the third point which include information about the periods of colonialism for example.

But it seems as if it is not only Africa offering material which appears worth discussing but also the globalization which is mentioned as first point. I think this theme gives us an even bigger variety in facts being worth to talk about than “Africa” does because the problem of globalization is actually much more current so it could be easier to achieve information concerning this topic.

The last theme suggested on the sf- page, “Resources-Energy-Global Changes” actually belongs to topic number one in my opinion so I think it could be interesting to talk about it. I definitely do not agree with the suggestion to chose “Migration-Emigration-Immigration” as a discussible topic because I believe that we dealed enough with this subject area in the lower classes.

All in all, I would prefer topic number two because I like talking about historical facts and concerning the African develoment there is a link to our present time because the problems are still existing. As an alternative choice I would decide for the first theme because I think it offers much material to debate on.
